Galaxy A7 (2018) is Samsung\'s first triple-rear-cam phone

We found a triplet formed by a lens of 24 megapixels with aperture f/1.7, another 8-megapixel wide-angle aperture f/2.4 and a third 5-megapixel 120-degree angle and aperture f/2.2.

The most expensive smartphones are the ones to get first a new feature or the most innovative technologies, but Samsung is trying out a different approach. Originally thought to feature a single rear camera, the Galaxy A7 2018 edition has already been spotted in Geekbench a year ago sporting an Exynos 7885 SoC and 6 GB of RAM; however, it is unclear if Samsung will keep such early specs on this model.

As mentioned, the USP of the device remains the tri-camera setup at the rear consisting of 24MP primary sensor supported by an 8MP 120° Ultra Wide Lens, and 5MP Depth sensor lens. The smartphone also comes with Dolby Atmos.

The A7 has a 24 megapixel front camera and adjustable LED flash, and has filters and AR emojis that can be added.

Samsung Electronics today announced the Galaxy A7, the latest addition to the Galaxy A series family. The dimensions of the phone are 159.8 x 76.8 x 7.5 mm and it weighs around 168 grams.

Galaxy A7's front will be lit by a 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Display with a resolution of 2280x1080- which means an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.

4GB of RAM with 64GB / 128GB onboard storage, and 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with Samsung Experience UI laid on top.

On the connectivity part, the smartphone offers, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80, Bluetooth v5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC (Optional). The fingerprint sensor has been placed at the side and the back comes with a premium glass design. Sadly we don't know the answer yet, but we do know that they'll both be coming to the United Kingdom and that you'll be able to get the Galaxy J6 Plus in black, grey or red, while the Galaxy J4 Plus will come in black, gold or pink. It is also expected that the company might soon launch the device in India as well.
