More than a million packets of the product were recalled by the manufacturer Kellogg's in June after 100 people were infected in 33 states. The company voluntarily recalled the cereal last month, but the FDA says it's apparently still on grocery shelves and in kitchen cupboards, reports CNN.

The agency says it found salmonella in samples of Honey Smacks, which has been subject to a voluntary recall by Kellogg since mid-June.

At least 30 of the affected people have been hospitalized following the outbreak.

The FDA is sending out this reminder because it has learned some retailers are still selling the cereal.

Kellogg in June recalled an estimated 1.3 million cases of its Honey Smacks cereal from more than 30 US states due to the potential for Salmonella contamination.

Connecting those devices together is the Whiteboard app, now available for all Windows 10 PCs and, soon, on iOS and web browsers. Security updates to Windows apps, Windows graphics, Windows datacenter networking, Windows virtualization, and Windows kernel.

The FDA says the third-party facility that makes Honey Smacks hasn't made any since June 12, two days before the recall.

This comes as the federal agency continues to investigate a multi-state outbreak of Salmonella.

According to the CDC, salmonella is responsible for about 1.2 million illnesses, 23,000 hospitalisations, and 450 deaths a year, the majority of which are sourced from food. Pennsylvania (8), MA (7), and California (6) have the most cases, but illnesses are widespread and affecting all ages. Symptoms include diarrhea, fever, and abdominal cramps.

"Laboratory testing identified the outbreak strain of Salmonella in unopened and opened boxes of Honey Smacks cereal collected from retail locations and from ill people's homes", the new report stated.
