Darwin Project Now Free-To-Play On Xbox One

These updates are coming out this afternoon to all users as early as this afternoon. The system-wide search feature is also now more accessible, with the new Y shortcut whenever you are in the dashboard.

Xbox's July update brings a bunch of handy improvements.

Another Mixer feature is that you can now use full-screen streaming with your webcam. They've updated the Mixer Share controller option on the web, added multi-touch support for Mixer Share on touch devices, and added a channel leaderboard for viewers who've contributed to a channel during Share Controller sessions. Hit enter or click the "more results" button to view a full page for your search results.

Open Settings on your Xbox One. These are different from Pins. Since then, they've added a lot of content like duo mode and cosmetics - what we've come to expect from other battle royale games - and a skill-based matchmaking system that lets you play with other players that match your level. You can add groups to Home and Guide, and there should be one Group made as soon as your update is complete.

The July update is available now on Xbox One.

FastStart is a new innovation from our Xbox Platform team that allows you to jump into your games twice as fast and play after downloading just a fraction of it. FastStart works by identifying which files are needed to begin playing and prioritizes the download of those files first, enabling you to quickly jump into full-fidelity gameplay while the remainder of your title downloads in the background.

First up, the newly-announced FastStart has been activated for select titles. The update will include "FastStart", which is a feature created to address one of the biggest frustrations of modern gaming: Being forced to wait for your titles to download before you can play them. At the very least, try it out for yourself and see if it's something you could enjoy as a viable alternative to the battle royale big hitters.
